Gta 6 Steering Wheel

Being a fan of steering wheel games, I’ve often enjoyed using the Logitech G923 on Forza Horizon 5. This experience always makes me wonder if GTA 6 will support steering wheels.

In GTA 5, using a steering wheel involved modding and tweaks, which often felt less than ideal. The driving experience in GTA 5 with these modifications never quite matched the seamless integration seen in dedicated racing games.

In the video below, I made some modifications to the game with the Redux graphics mod and used the Manual Transmission Mod from GTA-5 mods.

However, these mods seem outdated with the latest GTA 5 versions. You can see how the turning isn’t as perfect as in Forza Horizon or other realistic racing games.

Current Status and Community Expectations

As of now, Rockstar Games has not officially announced whether GTA 6 will support steering wheels. However, discussions among gaming communities, particularly on platforms like Steam Community and GTPlanet, show a strong interest in this feature.

Many players are hopeful that Rockstar will include native steering wheel support in GTA 6 to improve the driving experience.

In GTA V, steering wheels were not natively supported, which led players to use mods. These mods allowed for some level of functionality but were often inconsistent and lacked official backing.

This lack of native support resulted in a less immersive and satisfying experience for those who enjoy using steering wheels in driving games.

As a result, there is a widespread call within the community for Rockstar to address this in the upcoming release of GTA 6.

Speculations and Hopes

For GTA 6, the community is optimistic that Rockstar will address this gap. Including native steering wheel support could significantly improve the realism and immersion of driving in the game.

With advancements in gaming technology and the growing popularity of realistic driving experiences, it seems like a logical progression for Rockstar to consider this feature.

The gaming community remains hopeful, but we will need to wait for official confirmation from Rockstar Games to know for sure. Until then, the anticipation continues to build as fans look forward to what GTA 6 will bring.
